slow devotion turns 5.

I do consider myself a nostalgic person.

And while I see most artists don’t excessively celebrate 5 year anniversaries, I wanted to do something special for an album that truly means so much to me.

I’ve toyed around with the idea of making alternate versions of Slow Devotion since its release, however I never found myself getting around to it. I was too busy with dreaming up new music, pursuing photography, and honestly taking a quick break from music altogether in 2022.

I am both nervous and excited to share with you 3 alternate versions of songs from Slow Devotion: Waiting on You (etc), Missing You Now (etc), and Conversations (The Westboro Remix).

Last September, I took tracks from the original recordings and stripped them down before re-tracking vocals, guitars, and synths in attempt to make versions that feel more laid back, bringing new emotion to the original composition without taking away the magic that makes these songs special.
